Gabriela and Matthew matched on bumble in March of 2019, Despite the fact that Gabby sent the worst pick up line in history, they messaged each other about their love of collecting whiskey and favorite hiking trail in Las Vegas. At this time, Matt was an Emergency Medicine Resident and Gabby was a Pediatric Registered Charge Nurse, each working long hours on various shifts. After several weeks of texting, they finally managed have the same night off for drinks. On their first date, Gabby and Matt found out that they actually worked at the same hospital and laughed at the fact that they had "just missed" each other several times at work. They talked all night and made plans for many future dates. Matt asked Gabby to be his girlfriend in the fall of 2019.

As their relationship continued to grow, Gabby and Matt realized they wanted to spend the rest of their lives together. On October 12, 2022, Matt took Gabby to one of her favorite camping spots in Sedona, Arizona. It was there, among the gorgeous desert mountains, that Matt proposed to Gabby.. and she said yes 🤍

For the past few years, Matt and Gabby have focused on traveling the world and having once in a lifetime adventures. From the bottom of the ocean while scuba diving in Spain, to the tops of mountains while skiing in the Swiss Alps, Gabby and Matt were able to create so many incredible memories. And now, they cannot wait to start one more incredible adventure together.
